Pump It Up Pro Expansion - seven new songs, Half Double Support
Posted by cj iwakura - Thu 07/03 2008 - 04:22 PM - 828 Views

Props to jbean3535 and Yeehaw McKickass for sharing the info.

The new update patch for Pump Pro was announced and some of its features along with it.

* Half Doubles support - New Step charts for every Pump Pro song! You can now select half doubles from the difficulty list. We've decided to resurrect this classic play style with Pump It Up Pro!

*Some songs missing Freestyle/Nightmare steps have been updated and now contain steps. Everything now has an FS/NM chart.

*This first initial pack contains 12 new songs to the PRO songlist. All songs have a dedicated graphics team that have put together new animations for each song.

Sweet. If there was a PIU Pro around here I'd probably play this new stuff.

The real kicker is the inclusion of Epilogue, who's been an active member of the Pump community for a long time, and composes awesome music.

Edit: turns out Epilogue is a song title. Never mind.

Still an interesting coincedence.

Wow, 12 new songs that dont interest me at all. 3 mediocre songs from ITG, I cant really speak for the two old banya songs, and 7 songs that sound increadibly un-interesting. PIU pro wasnt bad, but this is a lame update.

The Coconut songs are pretty bad. I have the SCI Borg Episode I Album and they really suck. It's like that Kyle Ward tries to do songs in the Papaya/Smile.dk Style.

Miss S' Story was also revived for NX2, so it's not that shocking.

Emperor getting an NM chart, now that's awesome.
